DJ Cosi is a born and bred New Yorker who has been orchestrating unforgettable nights for over 20 years. He is well known for his instincts, his versatility and the depth of his knowledge. He knows music, he knows how to keep the crowd moving, keep them anticipating what comes next and surprising them with what does. Co-founder, DJ and promoter for 14 years of the Freedom Dance Party, the longest running Friday night dance party in New York City, Cosi moved on to please ears as a resident at Red Rooster restaurant in Harlem Saturday nights for 4 years. Currently, he is co-founder and main DJ of NYC Dope!, a dance party and social events company that started in 2018, while continuing to perform locally and abroad.

For the past three decades, Cosi has magnified and cultivated his reputation and his following by hosting parties and performing at many well-known venues including Nell’s, Cheetah, Justin’s, APT, Lotus, NV, Float, Metronome, Discotheque, Joe’s Pub, TAJ, Mission, BLVD, Tribeca Cinemas, Canal Room, Brooklyn Museum, Ginny’s Supper Club, Promontory Chicago, Beauty Bar Chicago, Untitled Chicago, Le Poisson Rouge, Santos Party House, Brooklyn Bowl, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Central Park Summerstage, Cielo, Fish Bowl @ The Dream Hotel, Green Lady @ Hotel 50 Bowery, Jimmy @ The James Hotel, A.R.T. rooftop @ The Arlo Hotel and more.
